Who Shall Lead Us? Good Question.

"Who Shall Lead Us" is a good question, I have noticed the flaws in our electoral process more and more. The type of "leaders" that we have are charismatic leaders, they cater to what the people want to hear during the election, but once they are in office all of there promises go unfulfilled. The other problem that she pointed out which is playing out in Wisconsin is that people will sway or vote with a particular party or they might not vote at all. The citizens of Wisconsin have themselves to blame for their current issues they had the right to vote some used it some didn't but the end result is a man who doesn't have their best interest at heart is in control of their state. Apparently something went wrong somewhere. Maybe because the democrats are cleaning up an eight year long mess fast enough everyone voted for the republican. Or maybe he said one thing on his commercial and during his campaign and has done the opposite of what the citizens wanted.

As I understand it the people in Wisconsin elected Scott Walker as their governor. I saw one of his campaign advertisements he vaguely says he will lower the state deficit and provide some other vague great change if elected. Well he is the governor and he wants to cut spending and lower that deficit by cutting the pay and rights of the lower government employees. I must admit that to be an informed voter can feel like you are researching for a history paper but it is important because the plait of those state workers is unacceptable. And no one should be able to govern a state that way, but yet this man is doing it. And as always after the fact people want to protest and yell when they could have just payed closer attention to who they were electing into their state office. However this could happen to any state anywhere people are not using their good sense to make decisions they are watching advertisements and voting with their favorite political party which is how we wind up with issues like Wisconsin.
